Our mission is to help alleviate global poverty by providing the Columbia Business School (CBS) community the means and opportunity to become lifelong contributors to the field of microfinance.

Microfinance is a financial service that gives very poor people very small loans (microcredit) to help them grow tiny businesses.

For CBS students, we offer education and investment management and consulting opportunities. For microfinance organizations, we offer much-needed financing and technical assistance.
